Insulation Coating
Insulation Material & Substitute for Insulation Board
Kemtron is a supplier of TEMP-COAT® an insulation coating that offers an alternative to insulation foam or insulation boards. An insulation coating saves space as a few millimeters of coatings can achieve similar results to several centimeters of foam boards. Where space is at premium or if you are looking to reduce the weight impact of the insulation boards or foam, you should use an insulation coating.
TEMP-COAT® 101 is a non-combustible insulation material as it is applied as coating.
TEMP-COAT® 101 (also called U-Coat) comes in liquid form and can be sprayed or painted on to the surface. This industrial designed liquid acrylic latex ceramic insulation performs extremely well on piping, air and heat duct work, exposed water pipes, tanks, oxygen lines, steam lines, refrigeration equipment, cryogenics, and condensation control.
TEMP-COAT® 101 (U-Coat) is an inexpensive alternative to insulation board, insulation foam and fibre glass and Rockwool insulation. It is non-combustible; takes up no space between the wall cavities allowing you to increase the size of your living or working area; and light weight when used to insulate boats and haulage units contributing to lower fuel costs.
In high temperature operating environment, TEMP-COAT® 101 is an effective toolkit in managing health and safety risks. By applying the coating on high temperature or cryogenic surfaces it protects your employees from injury.
TEMP-COAT® 101 technology is based on thermal reflective. On the other hand traditional insulation material rely on thermal transfer and thermal conductivity which is measured by R-Value and U-Values.
Whilst TEMP-COAT® 101 performance is not measure by R-Value or U-Values the proof in its superior insulation capability is visible in the end result. It is possible to use TEMP-COAT® 101 to complement insulation boards to improve the energy efficiency of your building.
